INFORMATION
Introducing the latest development in anti-ligature window units, the Skytech Lite. Designed to remove the visible framework of the external vent when in the open position, the Skytech Lite creates a softer and less institutionalised aesthetic when viewed both internally and externally, and significantly increases the amount of natural light into the room by 10%.
DESIGN
Skytech Lite’s frameless sliding vent and slim, sleek profiles increases the access to natural light and ventilation, thus encouraging rehabilitation and creating a more ‘homely’ and less institutionalized aesthetic.
With its externally orientated sliding vent operated by an internal anti-ligature dial handle, the Skytech Lite is as ligature free as possible of windows of this design.
LOCKING SYSTEM
The window has a new and unique locking system, which offers the resident complete freedom to lock the sliding sash in any desired position, with ultimate control being offered to the staff.
By allowing the resident to control how much access to fresh air they get, they are encouraged to feel more at home rather than institutionalised with no freedom or access to fresh air.
Despite its slimmer design, the Skytech Lite does not compromise any of its security features. Constructed from thermally enhanced mild steel profiles with stainless steel anti-ligature mesh specially secured in position, the window has endured rigorous testing to resist high security testing methods.
